I have an account now after avoiding it for years ... Actually kinda like it.. What won me over is Scrabble.. Challenge me if your dare.. I am a bingoholic and my record thus far is 15-5 including a 10 win in a row streak.  I promise to make a post with some real content later.. Things have been interesting in my life lately just havent been upto discussing it all yet.

Also I managed to get sick at the end of the year so there is no big New Year's story from me.. But my some friends did come over at 2am just after the New Year to keep my sick ass company.. We watch all of the 2nd season of The Boondocks. Definitely a strong follow up to the shows first season with enough new material to go with some of the established running jokes and returning character cameos.

My Bingos thus far on Scrabulous: (Interesting stats so far is I am about averaging one a game and approximately half involve a blank which of course makes it easier to bingo. About 75% include an s which is the easiest linker to work into things) The common scrabble strategy for building bingos is try to have most of the following letters retains  or cabinet in your rack.. The rest is easy.. I have gotten comments from friends while playing that it seems like we arent playing by the same rules.. So I then try to share that tip as well as the importance of learning the two letter word list.

The Pickup Artist movement seems to be gaining serious traction when you have former child stars battling for numbers on the street.. I wonder if any of it was of this was preset up.. Being they claimed it was unscripted .. Though they would probably have to play Corin good money to lose..

So... Yeah this Year is already winding down and this is my first post of it.. Setting a new record for gaps in my journaling... This post will catch you up on things and I promise to actually post on a regular basis until umm I stop posting again :-P

I had foot surgery on December 15th 2006.. Bunionectomy to be exact kept me off my feet for about 2 solid months. In that time I got really good on crutches and ate alot healthier which turned into a 30 pound drop in weight by March. While I was laid up I returned Second Life and found the Role Playing SIM concepts I wanted to do two years ago in full swing.. So I dived right in first in a place called Midian City ironically my ill fated SL RP group was called Midian.. That is how I found out about it in the first place as many confused me for the creator. Midian saw me play a part neko cop named Kala who became well connected in the city eventually I left the force and became a bartender since the staff running the police really wasnt doing a good job of it which caused all the good Cop RPers to leave the faction. I had a blast doing RP in Midian until the inevitable Drama and staff apathy made it hard to want to play there anymore. So after a month I moved to City of Lost Angels(www.cityoflostangels.biz) and started a new as a human witch who over the next 5 or so month became the leader of the human faction in the post apocalyptic world. I also lost my humanity in a rather sordid fun chain of events dealing with some demons. So Belladonna my character is a Demoness with a human soul in charge of keeping humanity intact.. T
Anyway by the time I went back to work I slowly weened myself down to a sane RP schedule in LA which I maintain until late summer when life events forced me to take a break entirely. What events?

Well when I came back to my job in late February it was a skeleton crew because 5 people had quit so everyone had to increase their load and pitch in to keep the place running. I did alot of Oncall until it was partially out sourced .. I also had to fight for a raise I was supposed to already have plus the one I was due. I would get one out of two and waited for the second one doing everything that I was supposed to and then some .. Late summer it came time for it and well I was recommended for it.. Unfortunately days after the recommendation my whole department was laid off.. We were given six weeks notice which I used to find another job after getting over the initial shock and anger over just how this went down. Things were finally looking up for the team and myself and once again the company decides to change course in the middle of righting the ship taking it in my opinion back into rough waters for no good reason... Anyway I was losing my job and already paid for TWO trips which would take place right after getting laid off.. Plus my lease was coming up at the end of that same month.. I found a job and manage to maintain my sanity and have a helluva a time in Arizona for my SL friend's wedding ... Yep an SL friend that I had never met but I spent a tremendous amount of time with when I first signed up in 2005.. She was one of my officers in the RP group I formed eventually I became friends outside of SL with almost all of that group before I quit it at the end of that year. So when she invited me to her wedding I was like what the hell.. Found a cheap fare and made the trek. I dont regret it her family and the grooms family were very nice everyone showed me a great time while in Arizona for the weekend. I Djed their wedding last second because the DJ canceled .. Jury rigged is the best way to describe the setup. Groom's parents receiver/CD player + my mp3 player + a internet connected laptop for mp3s... No Mixer/fader... But I worked it as best as I could and people enjoyed themselves. When I got back from Arizona I worked my last day for CCI then planned for the big one..
